Converting word docs to .pdf format?

I need to change some word documents to .pdf format.

I have looked around the net and there are plenty of free sites that offer the service, but can anyone recommend one please?

There is a neat utility 'cutepdf' or some such name. I believe that it's freeware.

You install it, and it installs itself as a printer, so when you print from word or other programs, you can choose to use cutepdf rather than your own printer.

When it runs it prompts you to save the document as a pdf file. Magic - job done .

I've used it and it seems pretty good.

Sorry I can't remember the exact name, as it's on my other (works) computer.

Be slightly cautious using other software to convert to PDF Alan...I tried a couple of progs and produced some docs a long while back...they weren't backwards compatable with all versions of adobe so they were trashed.

You want Adobe 7.0 pro you do...
