Im going to Coopers Sunderland in the morning.
Anyone know of a good cafe in the area for breakfast.
I use a Tomtom so a street name and area is ok for directions.

There's an ASDA nearby or just sit in "Le Bistro" drink the rather good coffee and eat all the shortbread biscuits...

Maybe the lads in the showroom can tell you?

A good cafe should be able to be found if you continue into Boldon itself, quite middle class I think (though not been there for maybe 5 years)

I don't know of any (sorry) You could always go into the McD's / Frankie & Bennies places in the multiplex.

If no one else knows any?

Did a good job

Arrived at 9.15 for the 12,000 service, front engine cover and final drive to be replaced under warranty.

When I got there I asked about the pump controller and they already it down for replacement.

They lent me an F850GS to play on and off I went to Asda for a very good breakfast. I did some shopping in Sunderland. Stopped at about 150 traffic lights! The road system there is nuts. Looked at the North Sea got bored then went back.

The bike was completed by 2.30

All the work looks good and the engine is running smoother than it did especially at just a little above tick-over or with the engine ticking over wile I slow down.

Im very happy with the service and the warranty work.
Just thought I should tell people as I dont see that many good news threads here.

Nice to bump into you today, we had just been having wheelie compitition with your bike in the pub carpark;)

I made one of my very infrequent visits to Coopers also yesterday.
Creaky back end has been diagnosed via the wonders of UKGSER as knackered paralever bearings and I thought I'd take the run out to Coopers in place of the t'internet order to Cleckhuddersfax.

No bearings in stock, but ordered for Tuesday.

Called in at B&Q in Washington for a burger and to buy a heat gun.

So that's next weekend sorted, Final Drive out and new bearing fitting time - whilst it's off a quick check of the large bearing ala Steptoe's recommendation is also a good idea :thumb
