Thank you. It is easier to dry a wet tarp v a wet tent. I can also pack away my tent under the tarp when it’s still raining, get dressed whilst being stood up, etc. countless advantages this tarp has.
When it is blisteringly hot, the tarp does provide shade for the tent, making it allot less hot inside in the small hours of the morning when the summers sun is beating down on it, or indeed throughout the day.

An excellent event, thank you to all who made it happen.

Ian, having your tables / braai made a big difference, thank you. Don, as usual the SA theme to the BBQ was tremendous, thanks Santa and everyone else who brought food.

Ian again, thanks for lending me those 'nails', without which my tent would have sailed into the next field. Must get some of those....
