I think there were only 4 Braai orders so I worked on the basis of 3 rolls per person. Which would have given a round dozen, as it was I over purchased, ani have 20 large baps, I think there may be a few left over

I arrived at 15.30 just minutes before Santa and now Evskji has rocked up and I'm in the pub having an early libation. Shit journey down, traffic was utter pants everywhere.

I came (sort of) in the opposite direction. Heavy traffic on the North Circular, M11 / M25 / M1 / M45 all the way to Stratford upon Avon. The M1 made more busy due to Silverstone traffic, I guess. Four hours on what should be two and half hours or so.

Just a flying visit but great to catch up with @Lord Snooty after a few decades!
Traffic was light and almost non on the way home which made for a lovely drive on the coast road - There's a plain dark blue police BMW out and about, I came across them in both directions having pulled a bike and car over.
If you pop into West Bay while out tomorrow the gig club has a barbque going on the green just over the bridge - Weather has cancelled the regatta but with crews down the food will still be on

Nice leisurely 4.5h ride down yesterday trough some very nice back roads. Traffic on main roads was horrendous, so back roads made me feel like I was riding in France.
Tent (and tarp) pitched, change of clothes then it was pub time for some “American portions” grub and a few sherbets.
Some pitter patter rain this morning at around 04:45ish for 20 minutes or so. More to come later on.
