Corbin vs Touratech

Hi,
I have the option to buy a Corbin riders seat but also now have a chance to buy a Touratech seat as well. Typical hey, been looking for ages and then two come along at once! I dont take piilons so that's not an important consideration.
Has anyone here had both these seats and can let me know, in their opinion, which is better for comfort, especially around the tail bone.

Corbin all the way.................the king of seats for me

Had both TT and Wunderlich 1150GS seats (both are made by Kahedo of Germany) and they are not a patch on a Corbin for comfort

500 mile days are easy-peasy on a Corbin or Sargent

If you can afford to, buy them both and try them - then sell the one that's less comfortable. The great thing about second-hand kit is it never becomes third-hand, so you'll make your money back.
I know JB really rates Corbin - I have tried both a GS and a GS ADV Corbin and found them both uncomfortable (and - I have to say - shoddily made in the case of the ADV one). Touratech
seats are of questionable build quality too.

Seats are a very subjective choice. I tried lots of options (& spent a bloody fortune) before finding a pair of Bill Mayer GS seats - which are excellent (for me)

Agree Mike, seats are subjective

Out of the 2 1150GS Corbin versions, I reckon the twin seat normal GS is comfier than the single seat Adv option

I have had both and, in my case, the Corbin was the better made and more comfortable seat. Having said that, the Corbin was also heavier and more expensive.

I am more tempted by the Corbin, it's the single rider seat so the tool cover will be exposed. As you say its subjective but should sell again if it's not for me. I agreed £100 for the seat but it's £30 postage as it's coming from Ireland. Does that sound reasonable?

You'll not lose money if you decide to resell it...

Cheers chaps for the help. I have pulled the trigger and bought the Corbin. Let's hope it's comfy, I struggle to believe anything can be as bad as the stock one!
