I'm at Bonnies Park Campsite, Bonchester Bridge at the mo. An excellent campsite with good pub next to it. I would probably be home by now, been on the road since the beginning of September, but a 'phone call from Harry the Cat telling me that a good friend of ours had died last week and his funeral is on Thursday this week at Cardross near Dumbarton here in Scotland. So tomorrow I'm booked in at the C&CC site at Moffat for four days so that I can attend. Mike Smurthwaite was an excellent riding pal and veteran of many UK and European riding tours. RIP Mike.

So I will have to rush for home Friday to change my pants .... they must be about due

Hope to see you guys next Friday down at The Gate Hangs High.

Interested in the brewery visit natch but won't be doing one, don't think I'll be fit enough

Why can't you just have a coloured row on the sheet in some sort of pastel shade to denote that you are different from the rest of us.

Just imagine the chaos if we all asked for our own special tab on the spreadsheet

Ahem... going back to "and it's all organised by the Italians"...
I can actually do Friday night, will have to return on Saturday.

Should be a couple of hours riding after work if my GS doesn't fall apart on the way , so should be good for Friday drinks (I'm on a diet, will keep feeding mostly to liquids maybe or maybe not ) and I should make it in time.

Will call the place tomorrow at sociable hours and see if there is some sleeping options left.

Blimey - a year ago I rocked up to an empty field at the back of a pub and spent the evening with four blokes huddles round Don's Braai trying to stop everything blowing away in a raging gale.

This year we need a spreadsheet to organise food and there's going to be a mad Italian roaming around the Cotswold's looking for lodgings!
