I'm at Bonnies Park Campsite, Bonchester Bridge at the mo. An excellent campsite with good pub next to it. I would probably be home by now, been on the road since the beginning of September, but a 'phone call from Harry the Cat telling me that a good friend of ours had died last week and his funeral is on Thursday this week at Cardross near Dumbarton here in Scotland. So tomorrow I'm booked in at the C&CC site at Moffat for four days so that I can attend. Mike Smurthwaite was an excellent riding pal and veteran of many UK and European riding tours. RIP Mike.
So I will have to rush for home Friday to change my pants .... they must be about due
