This happened a long time ago and the shaft has been sitting in a box eversince. I came across it whilst looking for something else and wondered if it could be fixed for less than the cost of a new shaft and if so who could do it?

Of course it could be fixed but wheater it would be economic is another question. I'd say no. JJH

It probably is knackered but I did drive it to the garage in Rouen. The first grumbles started on the way to Johannasberg from Cape Town but it finally clapped out only 30 miles from the UK.

I thnk it could be built up with weld, then cleaned up with a die grinder and line reamed. The reamer won't be cheap but I think I might have a go at it anyway.
