Can you recommend a decent bike cover to fit the R1300GSA (with panniers) for when I am touring - to help keep prying eyes away?

It needs to be light and packable, doesn’t need to be waterproof if that makes a difference to those criteria.

Recently bought the oxford aquatex for exactly the same job, nice and light, packs down to sod all. Good enough quality for the job at hand. Covers my 1200 gsa with ali top box and panniers.

Am I right in assuming it was the XL with top box Aquatex cover you bought for your GSA?

You need to look at the length and width, of your bike, you will be surprised

The covers are generous, but are not stretchy

Yep, that's the one. Worked spot on when i went up to rob roy. As an idea of pack down size........ I stuffed it in a kriega 10l on a rear seat plate, the bag had...... the cover, a hiplock x chain, small d lock, oxford x14, and a litelock, and there's still room in the bag.
The only other thing i've added re wind is - some cheap velcro straps off amazon to go through the front loops to fasten it to wheel, the same at the back pinning it to the rear crud catcher. Plus a spare matching clip buckle off ebay with a short piece of webbing and a weight attached - makes it easier to get the belly strap.
Its def waterproof, feather light, and if it lasts a few years for the price its great value.

Fantastic, thanks! 👍🏻

If it doesn’t need to be waterproof have a look at these, I’ve got an XL that covers a GS with luggage

Got my 1300GSA, I recommend the Oxford 2016 Aquatex waterproof motorcycle cover XL. Covers the bike perfectly (I have panniers and no top box) Folds up small enough and I always carry and use when I go touring
