not that i know of, take it back to the dealer under warranty and dont mention stones:thumb

I wish you better luck than I had with a replacement from BMW for a vertical crack between main and dip light areas (the narrow bit), despite being in warranty and 3k miles. No visible stone chips, I had a light protector fitted.
Damage was blamed on a combination of a stone chip, or excess heat caused by fitting the light guard and/or HID bulbs:rolleyes: So if you have any of those fitted I suggest you remove them before you go to your dealer.
Needless to say what I felt about BMW's verdict, but I will be voting with my feet when its time for a change.
If you do need to fork out for a replacement yourself, I do have a spare, cost me £133 on ebay 2nd hand you can have it for what I paid.:)

The HID makes three times as much light with half the power so the energy lost in heat will be less than half that of a normal halogen bulb. The guff about the guard holding heat is also carp but hard to argue with.

I had cheap guards on a car that were held with white velcro pads. One got broken in two by stone thrown off a lorry wheel but the headlight survived unscathed.
