Cracking SPIII...

I have had to return my GPS to Garmin with a cracked rear main cover. Have always used the Touratech GPS to mount for my SP and it has rubber shocks. 200 miles ago replaced it with the ball and socket system, from GPS Warehouse, has anybody else had this problem of cracks appearing or is it just coincidence.

Yeh my rear cover off the 60C broke after a couple of weeks, they sent me a new one free of charge very quickly...

just inside the years warranty, they said they would either replace or repair, have refitted my Touratech mount just in case its vibration that has caused it, although my bars dont feel like they vibrate that much.

Mine waswith the garmin mount which broke also, Now using Ram no problems...

you can bolt the Touratech mount to the RAM mount- gives you the best of both worlds...

Garmin are greattttt.......

had a phone call this morning from Garmin, GPS ready for collection, so jumped on me bike and collected it. On arrival at Garmin, they had not repaired my 11 month old GPS gave me a brand new one instead complete with another years warranty.
Thats what I call great customer relations.

You should have offered to pay the extra and moved up a model...
