Newly appointed Norton dealer near me. Well respected, but i have no affiliation.

They are based in Shipley, West Yorkshire.

Deposit in small print is now being contributed by the dealer.

£69 deposit and £69/month for 24 months. Final payment would only be paid by a mad man 😂

The problem with this is if you do make the final payment you will end up with a Norton Commando :blast

Thanks for posting, I know someone who has been talking about a Commando for while, will let him know if he does not already.
So if the dealer is paying the customer deposit out of the finance contribution, that means the only cost to you is 24 x£69, then hand it back, result. I would say £1656 for two years use of a new Commando is a bargain.
Think there will be quite a few two year old bikes handed back and for sale at bargain prices.
Go consider all you 961 fanboys/girls.

The motor bike shop is in the premises of what used to be Ellis Briggs cycles, it’s been there quite a while now. I can honestly say I’ve never seen any customers in the shop when I’ve passed so I wonder if they do much of their business online?

Where it says "0% finance and £3500 deposit contribution" on the poster in #1 ?

I don't think it's as simple as 24 x £69.00.

Total loss leader for them.

My calculations are as follows:

OTR dealer price inc Road Tax 17164 from dealer website

Less Deposit - paid by dealer 2766
Less Discount dealer 719
( combined as 3485 dep contribtuon total rather than 3500 but near enough)
-------
Balance to finance 13669
Less final payment 12013
Difference 1656
-------
Payments over 24 mths 1656 at £69 pcm

I’d be amazed if that’s the case.

It must lose that much as soon as you ride away on it.

Don’t see what they get from it?

FFS if you are interested ring the dealer or check their socials. I’ve told you the deal which i believe constitutes ‘Spotted a Deal’

Only error below is that the 2K per annum mileage allowance is not shown but excess cost per mile is.

Not sure if there is a £ difference between SP and CR.

Shirty! Lol

I have checked their FB on your recommendation, and it does seem to be true. £69 x 24.

My flabber is gasted.

Mega deal.

Registration numbers, back end bonus, finance commission from Norton, the prospect of service work, supply of low mileage bikes handed back in two years time.
