I have an Acer laptop, about 2 years old (spookily Comet asked me a few weeks ago to extend the warranty, Guess what!!!).
On start up it is now telling me that Drive 2 is thinking about failing at the time that will be the most inconvenient for me, I also have an icon in the system tray stating "A hard drive in the system reports that it may fail!" bloody clever these PC's.
Anyway i've copied all pics/music etc and am just waiting for the end of the world, well, hard drive.
Is it possible to create a system restore DVD ready for when the inevitable happens? I'm sure when i first bought it, it would prompt me occasionally to create one!
