HI folks

hope someone could point us in the right direction, I was looking at the SPOT adventure site and fancied doing something similar, but without the live feed bit, I can upload tracks that would show on a map with tag photos and the like.

Is there software out there can create this sort of webpage for the novice or am I asking too much ?

I remember a ride report from this site of someone how did something similar and it looked great, but I can't find it now.

any help or pointers would be appreciated

I can recommend TravelPod.com

It's a good site with blogging, image upload, mapping, links with email to publish any updates to your friends, Facebook integration. Easy to use from any internet cafe.

Oh, and free.:clap Definitely not worth trying to cobble your own together.

Here's one I prepared earlier http://www.travelpod.com/travel-blog/robroyaus/1/tpod.html (We used it for our big trip mid last year.)

No it wasn't that one, the site was had mainly a black screen with a map with points on it you hovered over th epoints and a photo popped up or you could look at the scrolling photo's along the bottom of the screen, If I remember correctly it was a couple that did a large european trip.

I'll have a look at the travelpod and google ideas cheers folks :thumb
