Hi to all techies, I'm looking at Creative mp3 jukeboxes on e-bay. I want to run one through the autocom, but I know from experiance that if you wear earplugs, you need at least 10mW power output. I can't find this info on any webshite-can anybody whose got one advise me of the output and model?

Thanks in anticipation, martin.

MP3 volume amp

mpj

I use a Boostaroo amplifier on my mini disc player. Provides approx 50% higher volume and no distortion.

Takes 2 x AA batteries.

I have a battery charger on bike ( tank bag ) which keeps 4 x AA's charged at all times, 2 for the amp and 1 for the player.

Use with Ultimate filtered ear plugs via Autocom, loud enough.

Go to Boostaroo web site. $30 plus a few quid packing, got mine within days. Excellent service and product.

Don't know the actual power output, but I can give you a subjective view......
The Creative Zen Touch is louder than a Sony Minidisc, when used with the same Ultimate ear plugs.

Therefore the output is higher.

:)

There's nothing in the manual for it remotely resembling tech specs, but according to the PDF manual, the headphone output is 20mW perchannel, 32 ohm at 1khz.

Erm.....so I do know the actual output.

I'll get me coat.
