Having just bought onefor our trip (back up in case of failure), I want to know if I need ot prep it by packing it with High temp or moly grease before stashing it at the bottom of the pannier?

Ideas? Experiences?

It comes in protective oil in a sealed bag.

If you need to replace it, it'll be running in gearoil anyway .
