Crowtree, still in business?

Read some time ago that Crowtree where closing down as the proprietors where going into retirement. Just heard a rumour that they were still open, anyone know what happened?
I did try ringing them but they are closed today.

The original poster is a mate. His wife has just bought him a set of Crowtree Leathers as a birthday present. As he says in the thread, they are winding down the business, mainly servicing their existing clients with alterations and repairs.

If they are not willing to meet your demands then search the google archive of that newsgroup using the google interface. There is one listed (up north) in the thread.
