Does anyone know if it is possible to fit the cruise control from the RT to a 1200GS

If Cruise Control had been on the options list when I ordered my 06 GSA I'd have had it

You ever looked at a cruise control electrical curcuit? Canbus system would have a heart attack for a start.
Probably easier to fit the GS suspension, front end and body work to the RT.

No, it's not the difficulty of fitting one off an RT, it's getting one and all of the associated bits.
To buy of BMW it would be cheaper to buy a new 1200RT, take the bits off, & push the rest into a skip.

Funny this has come up, I mailed them for a price last night and got it today. £779 all in if anyone is interested. Seems like a very comprehensive and well made bit of kit if its within your budget. Guy reckoned it was a 3-5 hour job if you know your way around the bike.
