CTEK XS 800

Hi

Can the CTEK XS 800 be used ok with the 12v socket on a GS1250? Will get a light set up on CTEK after I turn ignition on and then off. Used to work straightaway on 1100?

The 1250 GS needs a CANBUS compatible charger to use the DIN socket. I use Ctek chargers connected direct to the battery. I don't believe they make a CANBUS version. XS800 definitely isn't.
