Cubby rubber seal..

Yes, the rubber water tight seal around the cubby box in the centre of the tank on my R100GSPD is slowly deteriorating

It appears to have its own form and profile and as far as I can see unobtainable, any suggestions much appreciated..Buc

Think its still available from BMW I replaced mine a couple of years ago
Stuck it on with superglue

Well I phoned Halliwell Jones Motorrad at 0920, and after numerous repeat calls I explained my request in detail to the parts department operative; who rather than stop me finally stated he was HJ ‘Over Spill’ due to high volume of calls..He took my details, and informed me a member of staff from Motorrad Parts would call me directly..

At 1530 I received a call from them, I explained since my first call I had made the 70 mile round trip to you and home, and my request was for a part no longer available, in fact I think it was you I spoke to in the parts department, in fact you and your colleague didn’t seem that busy; anyway I’ve ordered this no longer available part from America..Really, yep, Oh, sorry about that..
