6 hour ride from Newbury to Braithwaite.
The weather throw everything it had at us, rain,wind,sleet and more rain.
picture one view from the Royal Oak at Braithwaite-£35.00 B&B and great food.
other pictures are just random views.
no traffic,lovely roads,stunning views and a cracking place to spend a few days 900 miles in three days.
just wright for a mini tour.

A couple of cumbrian passes

1= Kirkstone pass,then follow the A592-A5091 to the A66.
Nice road surface and fast if no traffic :eek:;)
see pictures 1-2-3.
2= Hardknott pass,this one takes the biscuit.
plenty of first gear bends,drops,twists and no walls or barriers.
A593 from Ambrslide sign posted [little langdale][boot] fantastico!!!!.:aidan
see pictures 4-5.

YES!
there was a slight chill in the air :eek::D:D;)
to be honest! for you it would be ideal to tag it on to visit etc.
but to come over just for cumbria would be a tad expensive.:thumb2
