OK so someone throw me a bone please.
I refer to the OSM Adv mapping which has been gracefully offered here for free- yet I don't understand the very low response.
I would have thought - especially for those who enjoy riding on trails- that there would have been some enthusiasm- or am I missing something?
It is also an opportunity to ask the developer to consider any other feature/s you would like to see.

I cant speak for all obviously, but i don't do trail / green lanes, very few on here do.
Most ride big bikes unsuitable for that sort of thing.

I managed to totally fuck my GS suspension riding on flat tarmac, so anything bumpy is a massive no 🤣
Bikes garaged for now.

I think most people that ride trails are already using some kind of OSM mapping, so the new maps while they seem better are not new- there are multiple sources to download them. I've been using Gravelmaps for a few years, which are also free and a similar idea.

Plus, these are downloadable as Garmin map images and a lot of the adventure riding community - including me now - have moved away from Garmin.

They do seem good, so I will see if there's a way I can use them in the DMD ecosystem which uses OSM and are also pretty detailed and with a lot of options on how to present and view the maps.

Thanks for reply- sorry to hear about your suspension Barnoe- Maybe contact TTech?

To all
ave a look at the detailed offered in those new maps- you will find some interesting stuff which you might appreciate on your trailies or even if travelling and going camping/walkabouts!

…. or am I missing something?

It’s easier for people to post moans about their Garmin devices and / or sing the praises of their latest wide-screen Chinese phone mirroring thing, I guess.

Maybe all they need is this on their units?

:nenau...... :duck: in two formats :D
