I have a Stebel Nautilus Compact horn fitted on my 1150 via a relay.

I have a 15 amp fuse fitted in the power line to the horn.

However, if I have the horn blowing for more than 3 or 4 seconds the fuse blows.

Before I bung in a 20 or 25 amp fuse and risk burning up the cables, does anyone know how much current one of these horns draws?

Stieble horns.

look on the adventure riders site, theres a sticky on there (pages) of how to fit, wire and any thing else you could possibly want to know about these horns. Horns do take a lot of current a relay is essential. but the creatures do work.

Thanks, chaps!

My horn is wired in with a standard 40 amp relay. All the cabling is rated to 30 amps (it was all I had!).

I shall uprate my fuse to 20 amps tomorrow and hope there are no more issues.
