Curry Night Thursday 3rd Feb.

bike show

OK, what time do you reckon to arrive for the show then? I haven't been before so not sure how long it would take.

When we go, we get there for around 10am and dont leave till around 5pm, i cant get enough of the place,I had a wonderful time last year.
With a bit of luck you'll meet,Nick Sanders,hes as mad a box of frogs(and some),Lois and Austin ,there just nuts too,Charlet boorman will prob be there,he's ok, NIck plumb, well he's just Nick Plumb.If you go and find the Traveldri stand, you'll find Les and probably Sam Manicom, nice fella, but not nuts.
We saw the stunt show last year, that was very good, it's shame this year you have to pay, but if it's as good as last year, i dont mind paying the extra. at all.
Where are we gonna meet up, do we know?
Oh i forgot to say, i'm bringing two more bods along, my brother in law,Keefy, who passed his bike test last week,wahey!!!and bandit boy.
HOw about a little white self adhesive label saying ukgser and your name underneath to start with?regds paul

Went in 2009 the exibitors out numbered the visitors by about three to one, several exibitors said they'd spent so much attending and so far had been a total waste of time so hope it's improved a bit.

Final details for Thusday 3rd Feb

Right the plan is that we meet from 17:30 to 19:30 in The Wellington pub, between Wellington Street and The Strand.

Table for 15 booked at The India Club for 19:30, we can add or subtract from that number, no problem. They allow you to bring your own booze but NOT soft drinks, they serve Kingfisher, Cobra and Mongoose beers but there is a Tesco Express around the corner.

As an addition, the bike show is on at The ExCel in Docklands. I know a few are planning to go there too, it is open from 10:00 to 17:00.

I plan to go to the show first and then go straight to the pub/restaurant after.

India Club is lovely - cheap and cheerful, and BYOB works nicely if you're prepared. Only snag was not realising there's also a lounge-bar on the floor below linked to the restaurant, which is where my friends were waiting while I was on my lonesome upstairs for the first 20 mins!
