Cutting Out

I've had my 1150 for 2.5 years with 34000 miles clocked.
At present after being warmed up the engine cuts out about 3 time when comming to and stand still (just die). Restart and will tick over at normal 1000 rev's.
One day all electrics shut down becouse the clock went back to 0.
Any thoughts.

Sounds suspiciously like moisture in the electrics to me. Does the make live outdoors or have you pressure washed it recently ?

Do you hear the injectors clicking away when you try and restart after cutting out or have you lost all power completely ? The classic symptom of moisture is the fuel gauge goes bananas and the clock resets itself and it won't run.....

Best you can do it get it indoors and dry it out thouroughly then set to with a liberal dose of WD40.

ould be the old - 'ignition switch loom break' syndrome ?

Sounds pretty similar to a problem I had. I eventually changed the ignition switch/wire and it was sorted.
70Euros If i remember right...
