With the sudden snow falls this morning and the works car park not being salted the bike went for a little slide this morning, crash bars did most of what they needed to but the nice BMW plastic cover as expected just gave way and cylinder head a bit scratched, so Stanton ones seem a bit OTT price wise for me but the Touratech ones look pretty good, and looking at doing some easy(ish) green lanes etc in the summer, are these up to it, seeing as the BM ones are not that cheap, but pretty pointless anyway?

Stantons are THE answer IMHO - they are strong, do the job and if you fall on them and they get scratched they can be easily filled with body filler and a quick once over with a rattle can and they are new again. Worth the bucks. Many many on the Advrider site agree too.
