Cylinder Head Protector Spy shots

Whilst on a covert mission in deepest Worcestershire this afternoon I came across Vern’s latest development, Oil head cylinder head protectors.

From the sneak preview that I was allowed I can tell you these are quality items… all the joints are carefully held together with top quality masking tape.

The whole item is then held in place with precision cut pieces of Red plastic

If Vern’s World beater Panniers are anything to go by then I’m sure the finished item, which is made of 4mm aluminium, will be an exceptionally well made item hand crafted by a gentleman.... ok I lied about the last bit.. the word gentleman & Vern can not be used in the same sentence

a set not just as neat as those on his 1150,he said they were
a special order from Nico Bakker,his were beat out of alloy

TT has a new set of protectors that they are offering as well but, I don't know of anyone who has ordered them as of yet...they look pretty sturdy though...kinda like the ones above but, Verns look like they'll offer more protection...
