A few weeks ago I had a lot of oil coming out of the right hand rocker gasket. Turned out to be the small round inner seal that goes around the spark plug hole between the cover and the cylinder. The rubber had hardened up and should have been soft.

Steptoe is a really top man and sorted this out easily. I can't recommend his services enough!

There is a little problem in there.

The washer which is under a small cylinder head fixing screw is often in the way for the seal. The seal gets a damage or is in a wrong position and oil leak follows.
This is not the case with every bike

It helps to grind the washer with a Dremel so it is not preventing the seal to go into it's right place and in good shape.
Have a look in here.
