If you're batteries on the way out (it's failed it's "test") Does it make the bike more prone to stalling ?
I'd swear mines stalled more in the last couple of weeks than ever (won't start just by pulling clutch and pressing the button sometimes either, which is very embarrassing at traffic lights !! ,)

Bike doesn't run off battery once started, so it's just you I'm afraid

It could be clutch actuation switch or wire connection to it that's on the way out.

If the battery is shorting internally then yes it could cause stalling at idle. Mine went full shorted and I was sat on a wall in Salisbury for 6 hours waiting for the RAC to take me home. As soon as a battery shows any problem replace it!!!

Yes these are all symptoms of a battery that no longer maintains 12.5 volts or more
