Daithi & Jockser give up the fags.

Jesus lads, it's like a count down for the Fireing Squad !

I've been double doseing on the Champex and I'm only counting the days,
and wondering if I should have pretended I didn't see the thread. :o

I'm sure it will be well worth it, and I hope these tablets work, if not I always have the Chrystal meth to fall back on. :thumb2

Again, thanks for the support :clap and the pledges:thumb2/bets :green gri

I really wish you both well and every success :thumb2
By the way, can we still smoke when we come to visit ?:P :D

NO. In fact there'll be no smoking by anyone on any of our runs or events ever again :augie

Sounds about right. Think he reckons if he gets enough nicotin into his system before New Years Eve it'll sustain him for a week or two :D

Two halala's worth from an ex-smoker:

You will suceed if you identify the benefits and keep them in focus.

Examples of benefits:
Your kids will have a non-smoking Daddy and be less likely to smoke themselves.
Your health will improve, and your appearance will age more slowly.
Your life will be free of the habit - looking for smoking places, fags etc.
Your clothes and hair will smell better (ok, different...).
You will not feel conned by a big company.
You may even save some money.

It will not be easy and it takes determination, so you need to be clear why you want to be a non-smoker. 3rd Party encouragement helps but the real decider is that you want to be FREE !

In brief you will live longer - no it wont seem longer - because you eliminate a risk factor for cardiac and respiratory disease. You won't smell like an ash tray and you will be a legitimate tax dodger.

This all starts at midnight tomorrow night lads go for it.

Will the rest of reaffirm your backing for them.
I'm as proud of them; wont mind parting with any cash.
So lets be hearing ye?

Good on yeez!

Go for it guys and just confirming my support / money as stated on the other thread on this topic. Genuinely I hope its not too traumatic.
