Ian Myers, GBR.

Would that be Ian from M&S [Motorcycles] in the Toon?
I know he's enterred before, but the fotie looks a bit "passport" on the Dakar site, so I'm not sure...

:beerjug:

Reminder to self: Don't buy 2nd hand KTM 525 from M&S. :D

:bow :bow :bow :bow :bow :bow :bow

According to the site www.dakar.com live tracking thingy; Ian (Myers) has reached Atar.
It shows the other Brits a ways back - although it hasn't been 100% reliable...

Is this the 62 year chap? If so they interviewed at the Bivouwac (sp?). What an unassuming guy.
Top dog in my book. I hope he makes it all the way :thumb

..... and slap my thighs if it ain't Brian Eland in there too :thumb ...although he appears to be still in Atar :( ...Maybe he found a decent boozer or chippie? - I'd be more charitable, but I was emotionaly scarred by being passed 200 yards into every stage on my first "Cambrian" by Brian, despite the fact he was 5 numbers behind me ......:bow

Ian Myers seems like he's almost out of the dunes and heading for Tichit? :bow

Come on lads and lasses (Louise Watson-Miller) :clap :clap :clap
