got a effin puncture taking bike for its first service today, the fuckwit who did the emergency repair took a chip out of the rear wheel, with the bike being white and the sides booked in for some carbon wrap on the side panels, i was thinking about having them powder coated in metallic blue aka Hp2 style, the nearest blue on the ral chart to the hp2 is i think, colbalt blue, what ya think?

Your bike..............your choice

I prefer standard bikes - colourwise, but not everyone does

the standard colour is shite so im going for it, not seen any metallic p/coat yet so i need a sample, i was looking at a recommendation from JB, a company called "triple s" in Bingley :D

Very hairdresser but could look..........very hairdresser. Charlie and Ben Kanobi would approve as would their 25 support crew.

Go for it.

If it was painted in urban camouflage you'd think it was cool .... :blast

You need to move from Surrey to Romford ...

nutty is mr cool:cool: i was hoping he'd comment:D

As an HP2 owner, the wheels do look good. On a GS they "could" look cool.:D

I would rather set myself on fire then put the fire out with a hammer than live in Romford.:aidan

Triple S, not cheap but one of the best in the UK

You should deliver and collect, if you go ahead

Didn't you once buy a brand new 1150 and then had it resprayed in beautiful 1100GS red?

That was a stunning bike!

Mike

I did & it was beautiful

It was done in Marrakesh red 2 Mike, a 1100S colour way at the time, a bit deeper than the 1100GS version

However it was a standard USA colour for the 1150GS at the time - so it was a standard GS colour

Plus 1 for Triple S, I've had my last three bikes done by them. Great quality.

They do a good range of metallics.

Couldn't you plug the puncture yourself? Oh no you are a modern WC rider :aidan Pretty poor quality paint on the rims if chipped that easy.

i wish i had done it myself!:blast he insisted on taking the tyre off and doing the repair from inside, the paint looks thick on the rim but will only take so much force to damage it
