Gulp, how much for the one in AJ's and why are BM dealers so expensive? nice looking 12,000 miler in JAX of York, decent price, too far to get out for a look, AND why is sniffys broken, what happened, tell me now before I buy another?????

had a valve to piston interface.......... will find out when i pick the bike up what the cause was if AJ's have any idea....

Still would not have any other bike...... great fun.

A friend in Cardiff bought my old one and loves it....THEN....it lost power overrevved and then clattered.....initial diagnoses was Valve/Piston etc....his tame BMW expert took it into his surgery and extracted a Tesco bag from Injector manifold.....he reckoned the air filter was in wrong way and possibly some youff had stuffed said bag in intake tube? unless a fluke induction whilst on wild streets of South Wales......lucky guy ....dunno about filter fitting, last service had been by BMW....who knows?

does somebody has bought a used HP2 in UK and brought it to the EU continent ?

If yes, what were the administrative things to do and was it expensive
to change the tachy to decimal ??

I've brought mine last June and it was quite simple (except for the huge burocracy that is to legalise anything in Portugal...). Transport was around 500€.

Getting the bike to decimal is another story: although I herd that it would be easily done by any oficial dealer, around here I'm told that it just can't be done...
