Thought you were changing exhaust back to original.Don’t do what ?

Nope.Thought you were changing exhaust back to original.
And forget about it.Nope.
Just having a Look in the box that got collected from UK last week and wrapping it in bubble wrap before shoving in the loft .
Nasty looking contraption and no mistake.I’ve now collected the OE exhaust from a mutual mate in the UK.
It’s massive and weighs a ton ,something like 20kgs more than the Akra.
This is just the rear end and collector box

In the spirit of transparencyHa ha . I knew somebody would comment on that .
Doubt that would be seen as underneath and hidden by a metal guard
Ah
But the baffles do drop it down from 109 to 108 db !

You could by a dodgy EU sticker and paperwork !!But the baffles do drop it down from 109 to 108 db !
Might look a bit shit thoughThe Akra system is more expensive than the Himalayan 411 was and only adds up to 15bhp. The Himmy had more than that at 24.5 bhp. You should sell that Akra and add a Himmy instead.![]()
Probably won't look as shit as those OE panniers....they look like a huge musclebound weightlifter would look if he wore a pink cap sleeved t shirt and burgundy spangly lycra hot pants....Might look a bit shit though![]()
HappyDoc will be happy …..or maybe grumpy

No idea about the cat.Does the Akra exhaust have a cat in it? It looks like it does, having that big collector on there ..... seems like if they got rid of the cat, it could just be all straight pipe ...
I put an SC project can on my RS, and it came out a little loud imo. The baffle is fixed, but could easily be cut off. I thought about putting the stock can back on but it weighs a ton and is the size of a old style computer bag lol ... The loud pipe does keep me from rodding it all the time for sure. It seems fairly normal in sound, until you really gas it, then it sounds like a snarling Porsche ... When the cam shifts it cracks, especially when still warming up ....
Loud pipes save lives they say .... in the colonies here, we have a couple of deer species that are smaller than the red deer and they are everywhere. Many folks have died hitting them on a motorcycle. They tend to move at dawn and dusk so that is a good time to stop and have some breakfast or dinner .... And loud pipes do help in that regard ... Or ride behind your buddy who has a an HD .... lol
I think if you want to tour on it at some point you'll think, why am I on this .... I have a Wing at home in the garage ........ like say in pouring rain or whatever ....

You can't tell by the smell of the exhaust? blimey ....No idea about the cat.
