How do I get this off to check the bearings and to check it's torqued down correctly?

Everything else appears to be fine. Torqued etc. But there is a thunk when I push down on the bars that appears to be the steering head bearing/bolt.

Downloaded a good few manuals and no joy. Here's a picture...they tell a thousand words!

problem sorted-just have to see if it's loose!

Are you keeping the front brake on when pressing on the handlebar? Are you sure it's the fork bearing and not the brake disks that have play?

Eating a cheese sandwich at the moment. Going back Down to the garage after tea and another cheese sandwich. Need to torque up the handle bar bolts etc.I'll put the front brake on when I bounce it.

I'm sure of nothing! Just replaced the bobbins.
