dash problem

My right hand indicators have stopped working, probably due to water damage.

I,ve traced the problem back to the speedo cluster,it looks like theres a short in the printed circuit, but its not visible to me.

Does anybody know someone who could possibly repair it,or has anyone got a secondhand one ?

Thanks, just wish i could read german. i think they are saying to seal the dash to prevent water damage.... too late for me.

it's generally a how-to, regarding the use of the plastic spray to conserve the motherboard.
any use in trying to fix yours? a clean up and drying out in rice grains might fix it, if the board isn't too corroded?
I'm on my third unit, which was replaced by bmw after I got the bmw customer support, the dealer involved.
However I used to have also an extended waranty till this year.
I refered in my complaints to the diverse forums, I forget if I found something on advrider as well.
The beemer kept the unit, because they exchanged it.
I have conserved my board with afc50, instead of the plastic coating, hope it'll work.

Thanks, but i found the problem a couple of weeks ago,one of resistors on the circuit board was shorting out, by getting very hot, i could feel the heat.
This was the cause of another problem,battery going flat in 5 days....
I got a pair of pliers and pulled the resistor off and wired an external indicator system.
Great all fixed now.
