I hate this alarm - I really do, but I like the thought of having something to let me know when the scroats are touching the bike up.

I can disarm and arm it, but I cannot put it into boat mode (the one where it is only immobilised and not alarmed) with either fob - Not sure when it stopped working or why (considering the alarm/immob bit still works.)

So questions are: Anyone had this fault before? is it an easy fix? should I rip the bloody thing out?

I know what you mean, I'm sure mine is going to fail at the worst point and leave me stranded...

Do you mean you are unable disarm the movement sensor by pressing the larger of the 2 keyfob buttons? Thats all I do when parking on a ferry, you can ground the yellow wire and it will arm with the movement sensor disabled.

alarm

Try your little 10 amp inline fuse somewhere!! mine is under the seat near the fusebox.

I've got one, theyre shite.

On the boat just select service mode. Ign on, press and hold the small button till it bleeps, Ign off. It will bleep about every 15 seconds but won't arm. Who cares if it bleeps for 1-2 hrs if it's in the hold?

Turn off simply by doing the reverse. Hope that helps?

have you coded a pin to your alarm yet??if not then you must do this as this will allow you to disarm it without your transmitter ,,having a pin coded will also be handy if you ever have a problem with your transmitter whilst out on a ride you can find the instructions for coding a pin on page 6 of your user guide,,if you dont have it let me know and i will dig out mine :thumb2

I dont think mine has ever been set? Am i right in thinking the default code is all the zero's?

I'll do mine today, although the bloody thing will probably spit its dummy, not work after and i'll be in the garage at 6:00pm, deaf, crying,......
