in the german enduro magazine bmw says.
in the crosscountry series in Germany and Austria the g450x was chanpoion in 2008 with simmo kirrsi.
In a cross cou ntry the ridej for hours at 98/99 procent.
In the WEC there are specialswhere they ridfe 120 procent and in that top (over te top)speed the bike feels unstable. Juha seems every race better and better but knight cant get used to it.
They diddn,t made the g450x into a 480x to compete more, but to enter the E3 >450cc class mr johhny bpxer just like ktm have a 450 exc and a 530 exc to compete in 2 classes rather then 1 class. The ktm wich the factory guys race have very very very different suspensio then that are on the production bike we buy, even frame is some time alterd and motor manegmend, every brand has very different facoru bike then production bike, dont forget that you make it sound like only bmw does it.....
juha salimen makes better time every race last wec in finland 2 time 2de place so it competitive...... only the E3 class bike gave diffelcies.....
for us lesser gods its doesnt matter if we ride drz ktm bmw all these bike are good enough. Even David knight did very well in the brittisch enduro and had a win and in the spanisch enduro the did very wel, but on that top level where only the very very topgods compete there are speeds that we will never reach and there is were the bike feels/felt unstable, but as mentioned before, juha salimen goes better and better every race.
