Dead again!! - Take your pick as to the reason why???

If it isn't the fuel (and now the injector may be dirty so need blowing backwards - check YouTube) pull the o2 sensor and have a look for nice light grey colours - sooty is bad)

Sooty O2 sensor suggests a misfiring coil. It was on mine anyway.

Low fuel levels with a weak fuel pump will cause it to spit back into a throttle body as the injector dribbles. With a full tank, there is just enough pressure to keep it happy enough to not spit back.

Well i'm going to own up...

Poo happens. :)

Mine with both primary coils failing took ages to diagnose. Had it just been one coil I'd have had a chance but both were going down intermittently. They eventually packed up totally within 10 miles of each other. I was away from home so that was £160 to NOG for two new coils on two separate visits. Oh how I laughed.
