Ok am about to place my order for a new GS , but I live equi distant from four dealers , Clarkes , Wollaston, Roy Pidcock and North Oxford Garage.

Anybody out there got anything good or bad to say about any of them

Advice very welcome, had some good help so far off all you guys

very much appreciated.

Ps When I took one out for a test ride I found a farm track , well it came back a we bit muddy .......was really impressed by its feel off road, felt very manageable and responsive....

I`ll give a shout out for Wollaston`s.
Recently bought my new fully kitted `07` GS from them, got a great deal which could not be bettered by either NOG or Balderston`s (my local dealer). Found them very knowledgeable & freindly, give them a try

+1 for Wollaston. Ask for Steve - he did me a good deal on my 1200 last year and also was very fair with my part-ex. Always have a nice loan bike ready for you at service time (and a cracking cafe if that takes your fancy while you wait!)

NOG..

As someone who has spent a fair bit on BMW`s over the last 35 years, Woolastons and Clarks have never impressed me! and never felt the need to buy a bike from either.
Purchased about 5 from NOG in the short time they have been open.

+1 for NOG, excellent service, looked after me very well as a refugee from Cooper Reading, just bought a new adv from them and mrs msgs1200 has ordered an F800GS (just in time, really)
