Hi all,

I'm looking at buying a new F800GS in the next week or so. I know the pro's and con's of buying new and will live with both.

Bearing in mind the state of the economy and the time of year what kind of deal/price do you think I should realistically be looking at paying at a dealership?

Do you think they will drop on the price and if so by how much?

Or

Do you think I'm better off trying to get accessories added?

Has anyone bought one recently and if so what deal did you get?

Thanks

Josh

There were some good deals on pre-registered F800GS's this time last year - I almost bought one to compliment my K1200S as is would only have cost slightly more than part-ex'ing for a pre-reg R1200GS, but I came to the conclusion I didn't have time to ride two bikes so I got the 1200 instead.

Dont bother with Park Lane, tried them yesterday, got the impression they didn't care whether i bought one or not, times must be good up in the smoke.................:augie

I got the same impression from Ocean BMW in Plymouth last week. I rang them for a trade in on my old K1200GT (3 years old and 53,000 miles), I wanted a new GSA and they offered me £3500.
