I managed to set the end float earlier this year using step's guide, the words and pictures supplied were enough to work it out - and boy did i notice the difference- and i've never owned a bike that needed them doing before.
TBH anyone who can use logic and spanners in equal ammounts should be able to deal with an oilhead, i find the tech guides on here a real brucey bonus, but TBH again - not everyone finds the banter to their taste.
Any forum will have a pack mentality ( like it or not it's there ) and on a certain ExUP forum i managed to totally piss off the moderator but when the toys landed out of his pram most of us had left and started a new one which still runs to this day.
I do see both sides to the handbagging round here ( sick jokes, end floats e.t.c ) but thats life i guess. Not all bikers are rufty tufty types in as much as not all are people i'd spend time talking to but thats my call, i don't run this forum i just pays me subs and makes the most of it. And most of what i see is good, the rest is bloody good
