Decathlon mini wood burning stove.

I’m not sure exactly when I’m going to need it but I’ve been telling myself I’ll get a pellet burner for ages and though I don’t think this is a pellet burner as things stand it will be one before too long.

Just ordered one under the pretence of giving it to someone for Christmas.....let's see!!

A mini log burner is so convenient.

Xmas present? Sod that, this is a gift to me because I deserve it :D

I blame Flintlock for giving my memory a much needed nudge though it’s something I’ve been intending to look at for ages due to always having a supply of pellets at home for use in the pizza oven.

Lol your welcome - and mystery solved - I was going to ask why the insistence of wood pellets. I'm storing future fuel for mine from garden maintenance - so no lighting sticks required from next year.

Another good fuel to feed the wee stove

Should be a few more to save in the next couple of weeks!

Has anyone got a linky to the inexpensive Decathlon stove? I can only find a £60 one which is expensive for a toy!

Looks like that's the price it is presently. I have mine now a couple of years - can't remember what I paid but definitely not £60 - thinking around £30 - £40 perhaps. It is well put together tho & I'm pretty confident it will outlive me.

Or £16 for the lighter one with mild damage. I have been resisting the temptation but am about to crack.
But saved, they're out of stock

I also bought one of these yesterday. :D

Along with one of these.

And one of the medium sized fuel bottles.

Ohh - liking the pop up table - noted for future purchase.
Yeah, it keeps stuff like your burner off an un flat floor. Less chance of it accidentally falling over or burning a hole in the footprint. Plus if you’re chopping stuff like shrooms etc it’s a lot easier. :thumb Very light and handy.

Looks worth £60 to me - A lot of work gone into making that.

Well my table and X boil arrived earlier today and I can honestly say they are superb! :thumb
I just need to try them out on a camp now then I can add them to the shelving full of other kit! :D
Now waiting for the cheap wood burner to arrive. :thumb

I have something very similar, bought four years ago to lift a camping gas burner above a Helinox table, to avoid the heat melting it. It works very well.

Being of a rather impetuous nature I’ve ordered a very expensive wood burning camping stove. I might have to cut a piece of perforated plate to stop pellets dropping through and it might be an abject fail but we’ll see.

Now one thing I do know is that pellets burn from the top down but there must be a way I can top it up without snuffing it out if it starts to run low.
Well it arrived 15 mins ago. Can’t fault the build quality! 👍. Excellent bit of kit and superb for the £14 posted! The holes in the grill thingy probably aren’t small enough for pellets though. A cheap bit of gauze type mesh should easily sort that though. Very pleased. :clap
