After the success of downloading music (going rather well now:))
I thought it might be a good idea to get Itunes sorted out and delete the stuff i don't listen to. Twas going well untill I ctrl -A'd and deleted what I thought was all the massive attact tracks but turned out to be the entire library:blast
Went to the recycle bin and clicked restore but nowt has happened.
Feel slightly sick and clammy at the thought of starting again:( Took a full week to get everything in there last year:(:(
Could it be lurking somewhere? Tried going to file - edit - undo in itunes but it won't let me undo:(:(:(
FECK:thedummy

If you have undeleted the files from the recycle bin you'll need to add them in to the iTunes library again before you can access them.
Go to windows explorer and find the folder that contains the music files, then drag that into iTunes, this will add it all back.
You'll then need to go and delete the tracks you actually wanted to delete again. Oh, and I think you'll have lost your ratings too.

AFAIK, there is no way to get the "library" back... but your files will still be there unless you didnt click "keep files".

did you say "keep files"?? if so just reimport your music. The files will still be there as the entry in iTunes is just a link to the mp3 file.

Go to file--> import folder and select your "iTunes Music" folder.

Nope, clicked "delete files" aswell:blast
There only appears to be about half the albums in the music folder after the recycle bin restore:confused:
would it be possible to pull the music off the Ipod with a suitable programme?

Used copytrans, it works a treat:thumb2
Will need to play with media monkey when i get some more time, looks a bit more complicated then itunes:nenau Sounds like it does loads more though:)
