Dell usb clash

Hi all,
ive recently bought a dell dimension 3000 and have tried to load all my Garmin software and drivers back on the new computer.All goes well until loading usb drivers when systam crashes,has anybody else expierianced this problem and what can i do resolve it.

I have a Dell Dimension 4500, about 2.5 years old........

Had similar problems when thge PC was new & Dell online support helped me out......

Are you loading USB drivers from your previous PC or downloading thelates versions..............?

As far as I can recall, I downloaded the latest versions & when confronted with a dialogue box about it's security revocation, instead of instinctively aborting, I proceeded & all has been well since........

Sorry to be so vague, but it's all I can remember.......

Hi Dutchman
i'm using drivers that came with the unit originally(with set up cd) and was going to down load updates when all installed,it starts to upload from the cd but the system crashes to a blue warning screen.That may be the answer,down load the latest driver and try.
