Got a new farkle coming today.

Denali Dual B6 Rear Brake Lights.

Up until now I've been using cheap Chinese stick on LED brake lights, which cost £1.50 each. To be fair, wired up to the hex EzCan they've been great.

BUT.... they just don't last (surprise surprise). Random blocks of LED's in the strips stop working, so it looks like a smile with missing teeth.

The price of them is brilliant, and they work really well.... but it's a pain in the ass removing everything to refit a new one and solder it all back up.... every 2 months.

SOOOO..... I've been looking around for a quality alternative and came across the Denali Dual B6 rear brake light kit.

£125 feckin quid !!!!!

But I ordered it anyways and it'll be delivered today ready for fitment. :comfort

Here's what the old cheap Chinese shit looked like........

Any opinions? :nenau

I'll put up some pics later once I've fitted it all..... :D

if its the single strip on the black bracket then yes i have it and its really good, very bright so have it dimmed right down in the software

I saw those, it's exactly the same, except (being the dual option) there are two of them either side of the number plate.

Should be enough to give anyone behind 3rd degree burns, with a bit of luck.

its called dirt,i reckon the twin denalis will be too bright!

Well, we'll find out in about 3 hours time.

So you're saying it'll be like a thermonuclear detonation then when I hit the brakes, so I should make sure I'm wearing protective goggles when testing.....

I have the Denali Dual lights. Mine are set up on the California legal setting. When brakes applied 3 flashes and then constant. I am told they are very hard to miss but I have not seen them on the road myself. Pretty easy install. Wiring follows indicator cables.

Well I decided to strip down the back end of the bike and give it a good clean. :thumb

Get the Tour Bus ready.... set up the Ohlins suspension for full weight Static and Rider Sag while I'm at it.

Then I decided to apply some black reflective tape to my panniers as the bike is completely black otherwise :blast

Gives the bike a little bit more presence when carrying luggage, and was only £7 off eBay :thumb

Panniers look good, but you do realise its illegal to have reflective tape on the rear that shows white. You should have red or similar that will show up red or yellow etc, but not white :)

Oh yeah, forgot about that :D

Thanks for the reminder, I'll look at getting red or something
