Appreciate there's a few threads on this topic, but having looked through them I'm confused dot com. This is my journey to date;

Brake light stuck on.

Contacts in lamp body in good condition. New bulb fitted.

Brake light stuck on.

Replaced light unit with NN led panel.

Brake light stuck on.

Brake pedal switch cleaned and visually checked.

Brake light stuck on.

Disconnected small white wiring block just infront of battery that appears to come from brake pedal switch.

Brake light stuck on.

So, I'm guessing the problem is between the handle bar brake lever and the rear light? Hand guards not pressing on brake lever. Is there a switch in or around the Brake lever area??

Thanks in advance....

Tail light working fine. Disconnect brake light connector and tail light is on......

Yes there is a Micro Switch on the front lever, if you operate the lever you should be able to hear the click of the switch if no background sound present. Check operation, try removing plug and re-insert, try again.
Possible micro switch is stuck on the (IN) position due to dirt, grease, or old age, close visual inspection is required.
Image of switch area and micro switch itself, below.

If a new switch is required Motorworks have a good supply in stock, clutch lever and brake lever use the same switch's. Check availability, price etc. with a Bmw dealership close to you first.
