Didn’t make it, its an alloy spacer from some obscure riser kit i bought years ago. I was having a rake through the top drawer in my toolbox where i keep such odds n ends and i found this along with some others. Luckily i also had a slightly longer bolt too for through the headstock mount for the dash. So its on and it clears the forks by about 5mm. As ive said my only concern is the brake pipe. I dont think it will come to any harm but not sure, when the bike is being ridden

Even though you have found a solution, for me it seems that the bracket was designed at a specific height to avoid the soundbomb bashing the front mudguard in case of extre braking, I might be wrong but.![]()
The way i have it does drop it a couple of inches lower than it should be but unless i find somewhere else for it its the best i can do. Going out west tomorrow so will try it out and see if the paralever comes up and hits it.

You will never know unless you slam the brakes on me-thinks, I just do not trust that double bracket, better to make one a tad longer that rises the soundbomb and is solid.

It would be nowhere near the mudguard, the paralever would hit it first.
Sorry Del I was thinking paralever and typed mudguard, only way is to take original bracket to a steelshop and make a new bracket, get the part that bolts to headstock longer, to bolt on the bolt higher up, and it will automatically raise the soundbomb.
No it won’t its already hard up against the headstock bracket. What ive done is as high as it will go because of the crash bar support.

Well thats the best you can do then, but if it was me, it would not be on the bike.
I took it off at 8am this morning before i went out for a ride. So will need to find another place for it.
