Just fitted some Denso VXU plugs to my 07 GS (70000miles) well I know the stock ones were getting a bit worn and oval but I didn't think they would make this much difference, I had to plug the GS911 in to make sure it was firing properly it was so smooth and quiet! Got them from sparkplugs uk, not cheap but the IXU24's what I normally go for are out of stock in the UK at the moment (unless someone has some old stock) so I took the plunge and went for the top of the range Tough VXU's
Not cheap but highly recommended.

About £16 a pop plus the usual, they don't list them on their site (sparkplugs UK) I found them purely because the IXU were out of stock.

I'm not normally one for endorsing these super duper accessories like additives, HT leads, sparkplugs etc but the difference with these fitted is marked to say the least. In over thirty years of riding all manner of bikes I've never noticed such a difference as when I have fitted these, I know my stock plugs were worn a bit but it always started first touch, but its the difference in smoothness which has surprised me, my 07GS has nearly 70000 on it now and with these fitted it idles cleaner and will pull down to below 30mph in top and still pull away relatively smoothly. I do the same commute at roughly the same speed everyday so it will be interesting to compare mpg if there is any difference.
I honestly thought a spark was a spark, and once it fired that was that but apparently not..... well pleased :)
