It may be the two of us. I'm making a concerted effort this year.
It’s looking very likely that I’ll make the journey north for a couple of nights in the tent.
I’ve just got a needy parent and his house move to placate a bit further.
Plus I’m waiting to see what the weather is looking like.
Plus there’s the people up there that talk funny, whippets, flat caps and my biggest fear…no lemonade for the beer!!
Oh, I’ll be on a Guzzi if I do pluck up the courage.

I can't really comment on the alleged mystical nocturnal encounters on the campsite, I always stay in the pub, I'm safe in the pub

I've just tried logging into summer, but not having much success.
Hopefully global warming will kick in again before the end of the month.
Right. I’m the spirit of Levelling Up, this southerner has forgone the allure of 2 nights camping in the rain for a room at one of the local pubs.
Not telling which in case FatAl carries in with his thought process as above.

Mr Brut - on arrival at Dent, where's the hub for Tosserism? Do people generally gather at the campsite, or a pub, or is it weather depen-Dent?
I'd hate to be on my own in the pub, for instance, missing the AC/DC gig at the campsite

As it's an official unofficial event we might not have a sectioned off part of the campsite, so there might not be a campsite hub as we had in the past. Most of us end up in the Sun Inn anyway and some of us wearing a track between there and the George and Dragon, then the campsite, then back to the Sun, repeat until no longer able to walk/stagger between any of them. Personally I prefer the Sun Inn, the G+D is a bit more up market.
