Where can I order some air filters for use in sandy areas?

Bike is the 1150GS model and at present using a K&N filter.

Research "MANN" (manufacturers name) filters, if no luck, mount the largest oil/foam filter you can realistically fit on the end of your snorkle (still keeping stock filter in place).....

Sages have noted that K&N are not as efficient in removing particulate compared to the stock filter....

+1 for foam on snorkel (buy 2 or 3 and wash out regularly and rotate).

Others have also mentioned using paper "racing" filters. As good as standard filters, but dont last as long, and should be cheaper too.

We just used the K & N and knocked the sand out now and again ...no problems

Looks more like gravel to me. I was thinkin Laurence of Arabia style sand dunage
